EMBRACE     SILENCE

Silence is a powerful form of prayer

Prayer is conversation with God

Conversation is a mixture of talking and     listening

Silence from us gives God a chance to speak     too.

Reflection: Try     using silence as our prayer for ONE hour this week by being still in God’s     presence, no books, no words, just silence.      God will be delighted to talk to us in the silence of our hearts.

‘Let the     little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as     these that the kingdom of God belongs.’ Luke 18:16.

Trócaire’s Lenten campaign 2015 highlights the     injustice faced by many in the developing world.  Mahlet (13) is     the little girl from Ethiopia who appears on this year’s Trócaire Box.  Mahlet represents the many children in the     developing world who are suffering because their families can’t grow enough     food to feed them.  Find out how to help at www.trocaire.org/lent.
